I may be in the position in the next 2-3 weeks to buy my first real decent telecope and a couple of recommended extras. All being well I am looking to spend about £1000, I would like something that is easy to use, so I would prefer one with an automatic/electronic GOTO mount. I am considering the Meade ETX125 but I am open to suggestions so all thoughts and comments welcomed. I love my ETX125. It's not quite a "grab and go" scope but close. Of course, it has its limitations due to aperture and design. My only complaint is that (IMHO) the automatic alignment is not as good as it could be. -- Tom Hise - NCØO N42° 06' 41" - W91° 52' 59" |
