Default Astronomy Books for a Pre-Schooler

I'm looking to get a bed time book for my 3-3/4 year old daughter.

She loves pointing out the Moon, and has looked at the Moon and stars
in one of my spotting scopes (my big scopes are too tall for her).
When I got a 6inch F/8 OTA last year she came down the stairs the next
morning and hugged the "really really big telescope."

We already have three books about the first moon landing (two titled
"Man on the Moon" and one titled "One Giant Leap"). I have the two
H.A. Rey books, but they're a bit advanced for her, and definitely not
bed time stories.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is a pretty good "Dr Seuss Learning Library" book called "Al about
space";

my 5 year old loves it anyway...

Brian,

You might want to have a look at the the Seymour Simon books. They
have a number of nice photographs. I take my children to our local
library, and we discovered them there. When I read them, I usually
summarize the text or let them ask questions. My oldest is now almost
seven, and likes to read anything on her own, but my three-year-old
likes to talk about the pictures.

We also have another one that is a long, progressive poem about the
planets (with stickers!), but I do not remember the title. I bought it
at Barnes and Noble in the children's section.

Finally, you may just want to go to your public library with your
daughter and look through the juvenille non-fiction section and let her
pick a book.
