Default M45 - Pleiades Open Cluster in Taurus

Dear group,

One of my favourite DSO's is the seven gals in Taurus with equally
attractive names such as Electra, Maia, Merope etc.

As much as I would love to tackle this cluster and reflection nebula
with my AP160, I resorted to using my Tak FSQ and its more generous
wide field. For a result based on four hours total exposure from a
couple of days ago, I kindly direct you to http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-DSO-M45.htm
..

I am planning to pick up the new version of the SBIG ST-11000XM when
it comes out early next year and I suspect that M45 will be my first
target (AP160+ST-11k).

Clear skies!

Anthony.

Is this a sample of your moderation style?

No it is not. And as for my moderation "style," there has been no need for
any at Moderated sci.astro.amateur. Had you ever been to the site, then
you would know that and never would have made your statement.

What my post here is a "sample" of is somebody trying to stop Mick from
continuing to attack Cathy -- without cause or provocation. Were you
around years ago when he launched into an attack of her using every
obscenity and insult imaginable in s.a.a.? Are you aware that John
Steinberg all but promised Mick an attempt to find him if he didn't stop
the attack on Cathy?

I will discuss this no more. You apparently have no knowledge of this
history. You apparently have never looked at Moderated sci.astro.amateur.
We have more than 100 members now. They seem to be content.

It is very easy to click the link to the forum which appears in my
signature. You chose not to. You chose to show that you have no idea what
you are talking about in two areas. Some will applaud you. Others will
see your remarks here to be baseless and uncalled for. Others WILL use
this reply to you to attempt to belittle me as you have attempted. Others
couldn't care less either way.

Life goes on.
