Hervert Spencer predicted regimes to come in 1860 in his book 'The Man vs. the State'. In the 20'th century we have the democidal East known for its extreme dictatorships, and we have the imperialist notion West Gandhi battled for human rights in 1910, imperialism with ties to police and greatness in barbaric forms of regime and control. Hitler tried to become the imperialist boss. Some people only knew repression in their lives based on culture, other people like Barack Obama see both the repressive and the repressed, so did Gandhi. Gandhi said both the British and the Indian people need to learn. The English repressed Indian people and didn't allow Indian people to work in the most profiting businesses like the salt industry. Gandhi led the Indian people to the ocean shore and they produced salt for which Gandhi was arrested and jailed. Gandhi said even if it means to go to jail, people must stand up for their basic rights as Indian people. One cannot be equalled to repressors. Equal rights was not the solution, never will be in that regard. |
